London's INCA seems intent on remaining something of an unknown quantity for the time being - she's yet to reveal anything more than her location and a short insight into her hopeful, modest personality quirks on her Facebook: "I'm not sure about a lot of things but music helps me figure it out. I'm looking forward to sharing my world with you."

Debut track 'Wake Me Up' is anything but shy and retiring though. INCA plugs into the billowing, inky, and yet hyper-accessible pop of Banks and Lana Del Rey, while keeping an eye fixed on the underground with crackling static beats, lo-fi bass notes and plenty of atmospheric gaps punctuating the fluid melody. - DC
